The 2130
A computer scientist, appalled to discover that his chauffeur was actually Dr. Kimble, uses his new state-of-the-art computer to assist Gerard and predict Kimble's movements from city to city.
Bloodhound Lt. Gerard needs a computer blood transfusion when he is drained of his total knowledge of the fugitive. The brand-new 1966 state-of-the-art computer can establish Kimble's flight pattern. Well-connected researcher Dr. Ryder has his own heavy motive for punch-card programming as an m.o. to hunt down Dr. Kimble, because he wrongly believes the fugitive misappropriated his nifty sports-car for a hit & run. This is arguably the very best episode, chock-full of outstanding scenes, interesting characters, and great performances. Kimble works for Professor Ryder, beautifully played by actor Melvyn Douglas, performing chauffeur and other duties. Professor Ryder is a computer expert, and works with the most advanced technology of 1966.
Kimble does a favor for Professor Ryder's daughter Laurie (actress Susan Albert), leading to a sticky situation. Kimble has to steal the professor's car in order to escape. Outraged that this murderer was living under his own roof, Ryder decides to get even with Kimble, and contacts Lieutenant Gerard.
Gerard provides all known information about Kimble and his travels, which the professor feeds into the 2130 computer. They use the computer to locate Kimble, who faces severe danger when it turns out that the computer's prognostications are always on target.
